ZtoA Group was founded 20+ years ago, led by Kenny Tang. We saw a simple observation: most business strategy starts from A — follow the process, follow the framework, follow what "should" be done. The result: well-executed, rarely transformative.
So we flipped it. Start from Z — the outcome the client truly wants — and walk backwards to A. This thinking has a name in education: Backward Design (Wiggins & McTighe 1998) — but it applies to any outcome-driven work.
For 20 years, this method has served 200+ clients — from ICAC, Hong Kong Housing Society, HKPC, VTC, HKTB, to AXA, P&G, Pandora, Microsoft, Hitachi, Tencent, SHKP, Hang Lung, NWD — all real organisations facing real, hard, unique problems.
In 2024, as AI started to reshape every industry, we extended this thinking into three new directions: (1) enterprise AI governance consulting (HKMA / SFC / IA compliance), (2) inclusive education (MasterAI Inclusive AI — for older adults, people with disabilities and ethnic minorities), and (3) next-generation school education (this project — MasterAI Academy).
MasterAI Academy is not isolated — it is the extension of 20 years of consulting craft, 200+ clients of experience, 3 continents of teaching delivery. What we bring to schools is not just AI tools, but cross-industry thinking discipline.
